Hey guys, does any body have any clue as to what this noise be coming from? Everytime I hit at around 30 mph I've been getting this rattling noise right behind the cluster. It's driving me crazy. I just got the car from my friend and he said it was perfect and nothing's wrong with it and now all of a sudden I've been getting so many problems. Thanks

Not unusual, the car likes to rattle. Push on different parts (cluster, media/screen, etc.). Some have put soft felt/velcro type tape under the cluster panel to stop it from moving/creaking. There was a recent thread about it but I can't remember which one.

What is strange is that it only happens at 30mph. You sure it isnt just hitting bumps and what not?

dont waste your time on this thread. OP is another POSER. he doesnt have a C class, he doesnt have CLK63 as what was initially on his signature then "magically" changed into a CLK55 and an SL500 SPORT I (what the f*&K is a SPORT I anyway?) when I asked to post pics of his clk63.

That's what I'm saying. It's like right when the arrow on the cluster hits 30 the rattling starts. I'll try to get a sound clip or video in so you could hear it. Do you think it's like a plastic piece or something that's rattling?

try posting on clk55 and sl500 sport "I" and clk63 forums, i dont go there so yeah. oh wait, unless youre scared that members there might ask you to post pics of your ride.

Where are all these guys coming from? I mean, you've been on top of it for a while but I just sifted through all his posts... and uh, yeah.

I wont be as colorful as beej, but OP, you spend a fair amount of time calling out posers whereas it is pretty clear you're one yourself in a sense. Based on what I've seen I'm sure you don't have a CLK63 or any AMG, but that's fine, whatever.

My request is you just stop clogging places up with things like this. Maybe take the time you put into playing the part, get out there, and earn what it takes to be the part.

Or, just sit there and play the innocent internet warrior.

Bottom line, we're here to help people with real problems or put in our 2 cents on their modifications, questions, DIYs, etc. People like you just degrade the community we have.

On the other hand, it can be pretty entertaining.
