Sad to Sell My 2010 C63
I wished I didn't have to but with 3 teenagers about to start driving....Something has to give.
Completely stock with 90k miles Texas Auto Direct came in the highest with $25K. My own dealer offered me $19k. I told them to **** off.

did you try carmax?
i've honestly been really tempted to solicit some dealer offers for ease of sale and if one is good i might sell it and put the profit after loan payoff into savings until i decide on my next toy (plus the insurance and gas money into savings)

Sorry. I didn't buy C63 for it to be a garage queen.

2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4 - British Racing Green
I ended up taking 17k on trade for the new Mini my wife made me buy. The car had to go, lots of problems mounting up for me (air intake manifold gasket, valve cover gaskets, and about $5k worth of work for the transmission...) Yeah.. I drove it like I stole it

They low balled me as well, $15k for my 09, but that had 113k miles on it, and was pretty beat up from DC daily driving for years.

crazy how low these dealer offers are, if i owned it outright i'd be tempted to take the time for private sale but it seems like a lot of hassle too

thankfully mines fairly low miles, think its about 43k right now...i split driving it and my truck to keep the miles low.

Then you would also be shocked at how private sales (in forums) can lowball you just like the dealers do. Have had my corvette listed in corvette forum for a couple of months now (heavily modified) and the offers aren't even fair ones. I understand the buyer is trying to spend as little as possible and maximize their purchase, but you would be surprised. I'm thinking of listing on ebay motors and be done with it.
I've had friends use the autotrader route and it took months of insane lowball offers before it sold.
end of the day these are only worth what someone is willing to pay, and buyers want to pay as little as possible especially a dealer.

Carmax was worse than my local (monopoly) Lexus dealer when trading/selling my 996.
They may give you a good price on a three year old Silverado with 20k mi. but I'm not impressed so far.
I'm going to be parting with my '11 328 x-drive 6-MT wagon soon and I'll take my chances on ebay.
