Does anyone know where to buy the OEM 507 front grille with the blackout?
I can't stand seeing the bright chrome grill and want to swap with the 507.
Does anyone know the best place to buy the OEM 507 grille? Is it a direct replacement with the 2014 C63? And I'm assuming easy to replace?
THANK YOU ALL

I really don't get why you don't use the search function. It's not hard. Is it lazy, or stupid, or what? I'm not trying to be offensive, I just am really curious.

If you are going to purchase the 507 grill, remember that there are two part numbers, not just one. The grill is two pieces.
I am still debating on purchasing the 507 grill or just having my go to painter guy strip down the chrome, paint it, then clear it... multiple times haha.

The 507 did not come with a blacked out grille. Whats up with you?
Its just the facelifted, single fin grille that we all had to go get blacked out. There is nothing special about the 507, except the hood, wheels, and some interior stuff.
There is no 507 grille.

507 grille looks great, i would suggest doing the DRL surrounds as well from the 507 as they are black.
I have never seen a grille like that wrapped to my liking, always some type of corner or something I notice not perfect, to me it's a bit of a cheap way out, not something I would do on an AMG.....
Part numbers for you:
grille piece needed that screws into hood
204-880-39-83
Lower / bigger grill portion that snaps in
204-880-37-83
You need both.......
"List" price $186.00 and $660.00 respectively at a local dealer to me.
DRL surrounds if you want:
204-885-37-74
204-885-38-74
"List" price $210.00 each

I understand. I was assuming OP meant a totally blacked out grille. Was just sending the message that there are no complete black or murdered out grilles. That there is some chrome on them all. If OP wants a blacked out grille, was just letting him know that he can get any facelifted, single fin grille.

I'm gonna bite the bullet for the 507 grill - just gotta come around to actually ordering it, hopefully this weekend.
I agree with dlefty, wrapping etc. just doesn't settle well with me - I'd rather spend the extra coin and not cheap out. Cheapest I found was $475 for the lower 507 grill, $186 for the upper piece. Still not cheap by any means, but better than $850+ from the dealer.

I've done this for quite a few C class guys, to give them the 507 look, using vinyl to wrap the chrome. However, I do understand that there are also people out there who would prefer to just have a factory grill piece as well. For those who end up getting it wrapped or wrapping it themselves, it should be fairly straight forward enough, since this grill design is more practical to do than the previous or other grill designs where the whole thing is silver, etc.

Hi Don -
I was hoping a vendor would sell this piece in glossy or matte black, but I don't think these are being produced so I may have to wrap it, if it's actually feasible and will hold up to the elements and washing.
Would you be able to wrap this piece above the license plate area that is chrome? I called my go-to tint/wrapping shop and they said they don't advise wrapping the chrome as it is prone to chip and peel easily..? I didn't think it would be a problem for them, but apparently it is. I called around and all the reputable, well known tint shops locally said the same.
If you would be able to do this, please PM me and I could ship it out to you.
Thank you, sir.

Seriously, you should just do it yourself. It's a perfectly straight line - just about the easiest thing you could wrap. Get some wide electrical tape or the 3M 471 vinyl tape (low-residue) and just do it yourself. It's definitely not worth paying someone for that piece.

Also, tint shops =/= vinyl shops. I know some tint shops have started to offer vinyl wrapping services, but the two requires different techniques and skills. I do vinyl wraps for tint guys all the time and vice versa; I have tint guys to my tint work for me.
I can wrap the grill for you. I'll shoot you a PM. If for some reason you wanted to try wrapping it yourself as well, I can supply you the correct materials too. Whatever options works best for you. I would suggest not using electrical tape though, since there would be no reason for cheaping out on materials when the proper and good materials are fairly low cost to begin with already.
