Again the question about deleting second cats!
Hello everybody! Tell please, i think - delete the rear cats or not? The sound to be good or it's very loud???? Who do it? How this? I watched a lot of videos in YouTube. But through the speakers is not clear as it sounds ...

Interesting.
Delete them. Too loud for you? Put them back in. We don't know your taste..

If you decide that you still want it louder after you get that installed, then delete your resonator with an MBH x-pipe.
If that is STILL not loud enough, pony the f up and get some long tube headers from MHP or MBH.

You can get Mike's Power Pipe in an "X" or an "H" configuration. The "H" is essentially straight pipes. And yes, Mike's Power Pipe replaces your secondary cats and is 100% bolt-on. I have the H-pipe and I am constantly getting compliments on how awesome my car sounds.

I've deleted both the secondary cat and resonator with straight pipes. It sounds like an angry beast of Satan.
My only beef is that the exhaust tends to echo off houses and trees around you and sounds different. When you are in an open area it sounds deep and beastly.

Perfect.
Emkovich, just remove the secondary like every is saying, it is a cheap and easy mod to get more sound (or lower your back seats ).

I did this experiment...
1) Deleted the secondary resonators and put straight pipes
- Provides a very good sound when you're standing behind the car and it's loud. When you're in the cabin, it's very quiet which is great. Deleting the secondary cats adds power so...
2) Deleted the secondary cats and put straight pipes
- With both deleted, the sound is insane...very loud but I love it. When you're standing behind the car, it pierced your eardrums haha

Not all C63s can lower their rear seats , right ? I tried to figure out how to lower mine(2014) and can't. I've been reading that it is not something that all C63s can do.

Also were you naked when talking to your dealer? Lubrication is a must in that instance but not needed with the exhaust....take pics though if they use lube...would love to see that lol.

So -- for those scratching their heads -- keep that in mind.
The broken English is tough but we'll keep doing our best here Em, just do us the favor at put in the same effort and make sure you're putting your thoughts in the right place.
If you meant to post that here, just leave the car alone. Maintain it normally, enjoy it, and then in the future move on.

I feel like this was meant to be posted in a different thread with regards to your steering noise issue.

I found it too loud for around town use. If you want drivability keep them on if you want all out power remove them. I have done both ways.

Hold on a second, you have a Stage 3 Weistec Supercharged 790hp C63 Black Series and you found that deleting your secondary cats on an otherwise stock C63 was "too loud for around town use"? I am very confused.

I' talking when my CLK63 Black Series was NA, I played around with different exhaust and cats and resonators. No secondaries made it very annoying for day to day use. My C63 Black Series is a track car so totally different story. I kept secondaries on my SLS BS and my GT-S Edition 1 FWIW

Ya, I have not been on here much recently. I just picked up a new daily driver 2016 GLA45, it's actually fun to drift around in awd, I am not used to having usable hp lol. I have some Weistec stuff being installed as we speak. I'm looking for a new 991 GT3 RS, I got rid of my GT-S Edition 1, it was a POS. I hope all is well.
