Why The Headers for C63 Are Expensive?

Is Benzworks true long tubes with a 4-1 collector?
How's the finish and quality? Good dyno gains?
I'll look for your thread or please shoot me a PM with your results after the dyno, good luck man.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I just got my headers today. The weld is pretty good and it feels like a quality products so far. It came with an invoice from Friedrich Motorsport.
I will install them sometime soon when I get my car back from the dealer (maintenance and changing some parts on warranty while at it). Not sure if I'll be able to dyno it before the install but I'll try.
Everything I received is in the picture below (I have 200 cell cats I will install). But I have a few questions (sorry if they are newbie type of Q).
How do I know where each log of the manifold goes? Then Do I weld it in after it fits into the collector?
Also, looking at the pic (sorry for lightning, came home late after work today), am I missing any part or I should order anything to help with the install? There 2 O2 bungs and some extension, anything goes in the extension?
Thanks and I appreciate your help!
Quality appears good, but like the poster above, I don't like that it's split fit. Make sure whomever does the install welds well to prevent leaks and other headaches.
Can you tell what type of stainless was used to manufacture? 409 or 304? Try the magnet trick...

Given all that, I'm betting they will work fine, hopefully the slip fits are tight enough they don't leak and as I said, you will still get a nice peak horsepower gain. Thanks

But that's not all it takes to have an outstanding long tube header, these aren't even close to being a true long tube. And the price explains why they're cheap in comparison. To get these to install status would be enough headache for me to say NO.
The bends, length, and other stuff contributes to the back pressure and whatnot. I personally will see the final numbers at the dyno and compare to everyone else. I would say these are longer than mid-length, and just a little last LTH.
As of the leaks, I'll install with a friend of mine and once its up on the lift, will make sure it comes down with no leaks
does Agency Power and iPE ship their headers assembled? From a review I've seen, I don't think so. At the end of the day, I'm not a weekend warrior or I track the car regularly (maybe I don't even go) so extra 10 hp *not gained* vs paying extra $2000 on headers won't hurt me
The length of the shortest header pipe is 16". Longest is 25".
Width of midpipe is approx. 2.75". The primary tube diameter is approx. 1.75". Attaching pictures (just did them measurement on the fly).
The collector's length is approx. 13"
The material is pretty good IMO. Just the lighting kinda sucks in pictures.
