New to the forum
Hi I'm Fernando from Houston Tejas new to the forum/Mercedes altogether!
Just recently picked up a 2015 c63 AMG 6.3. I have a couple of questions for the AMG gods..lol
1- how do know what package came with the car? All 15's came the same as the previous year? With the same horsepower or did they change it for 15? The used car salesman didn't know too much about this car just that "it was fast"
2- what exactly does the amg button do?
3- is there a launch control button/mode or how do you do that in this car?
That is all I have for now thanks for the responses in advance

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on the new ride. Very nice.
Have a look through the FAQ, there is a lot of info there.

If you post your VIN number in this thread, Valvestud will be able to supply the data card for your car.

Cool! I bought it with 747 miles! Original Owner bought it new February of this year. Like I said I don't know half of what this car does the sales person didn't know anything about the car so I'm finding out things about the car on my own

That's not even broken in yet! If it has an LSD (once you get the build sheet and find out what it has), you will need to change the diff fluid at 1500 miles IIRC.
Congrats on the new car.

Thanks! I replied to the thread with my vin number hope they run it to tell me what version of the car I have or if it came equipped with lsd. I bought the 3 years maintenance package so it should be covered if I need to replace the fluid!

I tend to keep my cars low mile/ stock.... Just traded a 13 boss 302 with 19k
For this.. But I was looking at some performance parts and holy hell they are expensive lol. Only thing I would do is the boxes up top and a tune

Congratulations Fernando
You will love your new car and gain a lot of knowledge from these forums. So much cool information to read about and learn. As for the AMG Performance media - I also have that and don't drive without it on. Nice to have a quick reference on the car's vitals, and if you end up doing some performance driving at a track, there are useful tools as well.
Enjoy safely

Welcome and congrats! Who the hell trades in a car with less than 1000 miles? Lots of reasons it could happen I suppose but.....financially speaking, not the best move.
For those of us without the AMG performance media, you should check out some of the Bluetooth obd scanner tools and their corresponding apps. I use BlueDriver. About $100 from Amazon. Not as slick as being integrated into the car but lots of great info and works well with iPhone/iPad or android device. Also pairs up with Harry's Lap Timer to make great track day videos.

There are differing opinions on this. You can search the forum for other threads to get a wider perspective, but it is generally accepted that street driving would benefit from the OAS as well as cold weather driving.
I installed one after i purchased, along with the ROW air boxes and filters. I figured it couldn't hurt. If you do decide, buy now. Weistec has a sales going on right now through 7/8. The OAS is $499 instead of the usual $629.
Good Luck
PS - you should also have a supplement manual in your kit for the AMG Performance Media

Cool. That would be on 100% of the time in my world. Rarely have any need for nav since I grew up around here.

Yes, I do have the LSD...i was also fortunate enough to find out that the car had the 44O cooling package and finned diff cooler installed in it's previous life as an ADA vehicle. I bought this as a CPO with 3300 miles...just ticked over 5000 this weekend and every mile has been a blast. Check your manuals, maybe your window sticker is in there some where, mine was.
Once you get the build sheet detail you requested, you'll see if you have it. Or you can go to a parking lot and light it up and inspect your work.
