It sounds good, but I can't get over how it looks like a mini SUV. What are your thoughts?

A mini SUV? That's a first... I really like this car. Out of the new lineup there are only 3 models I would take. C63 coupe, S-coupe, or E63s. Everything else is either to soft (cough c63 sedan) or just doesn't do it for me.

I think it's pretty sick. The BS version will be ridiculous.

Now that I look at it again..... I see where you're coming from. If the roof were lowered by just 1-2" or so, it would look much much better.

It looks awesome, except somewhere along the line I agree with you.

Looks almost like that Honda crossover lowered:

It's next to an SUV at the start of the video. I guess I just don't see it. Pulling out of the spot though, at the very beginning, it looks amazing. Super aggressive there.

I haven't been paying any attention to the future BS market, any details yet? Or are we still just assuming a BS is coming?

From certain angles I think it looks a little tall. At least the top half. From directly behind and from 3/4 rear views in particular. From the front and side it looks spot-on IMO.

I've only seen unofficial renders on another forum. No official news of any sort AFAIK. Hoping that by using the GTR name for the GT-S means that the C class is next in line for the BS treatment....

I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a C63-R and MB leaves the BS name

Same here the S couple is so Da beautiful. The new C sedan is just not my cup of tea. The C couple looks terribly nice so far not actually see the vehicle in person yet.

I can see the "mini suv" look. Especially from the rear 3/4 looking forward.

looks really good. local dealership keeps offering to take my car off my hands as downpayment on one of these. tempting, but really hard to let go of the M156

The bulbous appearance leads to the resemblance.

Yea exactly. From the front and sides it looks alright, but the rear & side/rear is what was throwing me off. Still, that sound. It will definitely turn some heads.

They look better in person. Wife and I rode beside a blue one when we were in the UK in May.

The wheel setup on the one in that video looks horrible. Like they are to big and have the wrong offsets

I can see how some would think it looks a bit crossover-ish.

Totally agree. The front and front 3/4 shots look awesome - really aggressive pulling out of the spot. The rear is where everything really falls apart for me. It looks like its trying to be fluid but just looks melted and lumpy instead.

Also why does the rear bumper have so much ground clearance? Aero? Even if you managed to drop it 1-2" it would still be super tall. You can even see the rear diff cover.

A little drop would set it off nicely. The guy needs to learn how to drive between lanes (first part of the video) lol

That thing is really nice. I see what you're saying, when it was turning right in the rain, it looked sort of like the back of the BMW x6 in a weird way, but it was a weird angle plus the black reflection may have added something to that, but the potential of that C class is awesome. An "R" or black series of that would be badass.

I really like the new C coupe.

However the one in the vid, has some really horrid looking wheels and to make matters worse, the car isn't lowered. Lowered on a more flattering choice of wheels and damn.....i'd be tempted to get one myself tbh. I think I prefer it to the M4 coupe.

Oh, but it must be said, FML they dropped the ball on the design of the rear lights....such a shame.

With downpipes and straight pipes..... Call me crazy, but I'm tempted to say it will sound every bit as good as the M156.

Can you imagine that thing with wastegate dumps. Bananas.
