its because some vendors ask for a full list of confirmed before they do anything. usually for not on the shelf parts though. the vendors then really do nothing...they don't even deal with the money unless it was a full deposit or full paid.

Oh I know. It just cracks me up with what the aftermarket charges on the cars because of the AMG badge.
You can get custom dyno tunes on the American cars by reputable people for less than a off the shelf tune for the AMG.
