2012 C63 Tailpipe soot?
Hi all

I've noticed my right tailpipes soot up quicker than the left tailpipes.

Anybody else's car does this, I don't know why one side produce more soot?

Are you measuring this in a carefully controlled environment, free from any factors such as wind etc? And how are you measuring the amount of soot, are you scraping it off and weighing it on pre-defined intervals? No? Then don't worry about it.

Not your imagination at all. A few friends and I have noticed that phenomenon also. In my case when I get gas I take a paper towel dampened with windshield washer fluid from the bucket and wipe down the tips while the gas pumps. Never understood why it is unequal, particularly since any lean codes thrown have always been from that side.
