2013 C63 air filter upgrade?
Hi All,
I just ordered the hand held tuner from Eurocharged for my 2013 C63 with performance package. It should hopefully be here next week.
In the meantime, I was curious if it's a worthwhile investment of $175 to get BMC drop in air filters or are the stock filters adequate? I'm not trying to spend money but if it's a worthwhile upgrade then I'll do it.
Any other suggestions as far as brand of air filter aside from BMC?
Thanks!
Joe

I think you would be better with Row airboxes and clean OEM filters than BMC drop ins with your stock airbox, drop in filters with stock airbox have shown virtually no gains (maybe 1hp)
In my book, row airboxes are more important than filter choice, then decide if you want to spend the money on filters or just replace your OEM more often.

Thanks! How about ROW airbox with a drop in filter? Any estimated power gains with that? Is there a forum friendly vendor that sells what I need? Sorry for the elementary questions but I'm new to the game.......(obviously)

The only benefit of drop in filters is reusability.
