When I had my C 55 a few years ago I decided to refurbish the brake disc looks, clean it up a little and was surprised how such small thing make a huge difference to the cars aesthetics.
Before
After
So decided to tackle my 63 this weekend.
Front wheel before
Front wheel after , note: had the brake discs skimmed as there was more than enough meat on it and a new P30 rotor costs R12000 and the skim R120 and the engineering shop did a great job. Pads and rotor must still wear in.
Nice work. Was that a bake on high temp paint? Also, what kind of front rotors are those? They look 2 piece with the anti-rattle clips.
They are the performance pack rotors, yes 2 piece. I used a semi gloss high heat spray you buy in a can that you use on furnaces able to withstand up to 1200 degrees Celsius and I can vouch for the product as i used it on my jetmaster braai (bbq) and after a year of heat and weather it is still good. It has it's own primer in it as well which is a great help.

Nice, I actually just started doing mine this weekend, hope to finish the last 2 today - bugs the **** out of me that they get all rusty, factory uses really low quality finish on them. I am using VHT caliper, drum and rotor paint on mine - did it 8 years ago on my 335i and still looks great today!

Car is obsidian black, was torn also between black or silver, went silver as it was the stock color before they got rusty, but seeing yours, kinda wish I did black.
Spent my Sunday morning detailing my engine and engine bay, you see such nice AMG,s and when you open the bonnet (hood in America) there is just dust, dirt and sludge everywhere.
Finally got my LED eyelid bulbs, WOW what an improvement to the ugly aged yellow coulered bulbs.
Even bright in the daytime.
Now to just sort the ugly yellow fogs out. I wonder if there are also LED bulbs for the fogs like this on the market or does one HAVE to go the HID ballast route?

You can also use Philips Diamond Vision H7 in the fog lights. Just plug in and about 5000k. Looked good in my 2010.

Thanks so these just replace the standard bulb without any mods?
