Quote: When did you order your plates?

I ordered my black plates on June 30th and I'm still waiting for the DMV letter to go pick it up.

My plate is the complete opposite of yours lol.
Seems like it as around June as well. I made it a point to forget that I ordered it because a couple buddies of mine said sometimes it can take several months and I hate not having an ETA!

That would be hilarious if we roll with each other after you get your plates. People would be like "ok one of these cars are telling lies" haha

you guys in the US, madness you can just order plates at will and like buying shoes !

Our private plates cost a fortune, the good ones anyway, and the DVLA hold back the good ones and make us bid for them !!

Thats awesome. My kids and I used to call my 09 Marshawn - cos it was black and always in Beast Mode. We only get 6 letters out here in BC. Very limiting.

The way the guy that did my roof did it was by way of a skinny band of wrap all around the bottom of the fin. This pic was from the day it was done. Its seated better now, but this gives you an idea.

^mine is as good as it gets.

im just wondering if durranic was able to remedy his. if you look closer theres a cut out around the antenna on his roof. if that was my car that'll be the only thing ill see everytime i look at the car. dont get me wrong, car looks awesome but i cant unsee that thing on the roof.

nah bro I haven't fixed it yet! I wrapped the roof myself and I couldn't take the antenna off without too much work (lazy at times).. So I took the wrap knife (tape with a thin thread in it to make cuts) and just went around it! It bothered me a lot in the beginning but I just got use to it. But the car is going to get full wrap soon and I'll take the antenna off this time! I would to it sooner buttttt the car is getting some 1 of 1 work on it right now (EC TT C63 AMG) but once it's done new wheels (which have been ordered) and wrap will be done..

no worries mate.

a bit OT but just a tip, when my guy wrapped the roof on my E, he cut a small hole on the wrap, unscrewed the antenna from under the roof liner, pulled it to get a couple of inches slack on the wire (too much to work to unplug the antenna), then inserted the antenna through the small hole on the wrap and started from there.

goodluck and post pics after your project.
