C63 AMG Black

C63 AMG Black
So I had the privilege to drive a brand new never titled 2015 C63 AMG Black today. The car had 8 miles on it !! It has been sitting on a dealers lot in Moline IL for the last 2 years.. They are asking 77k for the car and it is definitely out of my price range but I just had to go check one of these cars out in person. The car is a flat out rocket ship !! So how does one price a new 2 year old car ? Im sure that there has to be some depreciation and what about the warranty ??

+1 not a black, just a 507.
The are listing it is 10 grand off, list is 87k, depending on build date, it is between 1 and 2 years old - they probably still have it because they don't even seem to know what it is. It clearly has a 507 badge on the dash, but they in no way seem to mention that on their website. They also have all the engine specs wrong, saying it is a 4.0 with 467 hp instead of a 6.2 with 507 hp - no one will ever find it searching around looking for a 507.

Looks like it has a couple of neat options...
Napa leather interior upgrade and the AMG Performance Media, chrome door handle inserts.
Nice car... Fore reference, last year at this time, I paid $62k for a 2014 CPO with 3300 miles, sticker was originally $94k. I would think anything close or under $70k would be a deal
Probably very few untitled 507s left out there

I had them make a copy of the window sticker and it has the car listed as a 507 an almost 10k option. I'll post a pic with options and vin.

My experience is that you won't get a good deal on a car like this. Like you see this C63, I saw a new CLA45 that was on the lot for almost two years. I was thinking the dealer would be willing to give it away but they wouldn't budge or even remotely offer a good deal.
Here are my thoughts.
If they were really in a rush or hurry they could have easily wholesaled it out. Lets not forget its been sitting for two years meaning they have already taken a loss/hit on it so they can afford to keep it for another few months until someone buys it for the price they are asking.

I could maybe....maybe seeing it that 77k price if it was the sedan, but sadly it is not. Way overpriced like others have said. Titled or not, better deals out there.
Also, please stop saying BLK. Yes the color is black, but that's about it.

KBB Value is 68k for private party so mabe add a 5k differential for dealer ?? Sorry I'm new to the MB world.. I'm not up on all the correct terminology.. would we agree that it is a 507 ?

looks like this dealer ordered and bought the car thinking it would sell and know they are upside down on it.they can't wholesale it because no dealer would offer more than 48k for it.
It will be hard to find a buyer for this car considering you can get the new c63s coupe for around the same price and the second the guy lifts the pen off the paper signing a deal for this car it will lose 30k in value.
you can get a CPO 507 for 55k that already took the depreciation hit

yea buddy we all know it's a 507 no need to get all the paper work and they only made black series in 2012 and a few titled as 2013 cars
