Never paint a car just because you want a new color.
That will kill the resale value.

Start shopping around to various vinyl shops in your area to see who has better prices.
Get it professionally done to save the headache.
Since you're posing the question of which is better I assume you've never vinyl wrapped anything and that you're planning on doing it yourself.
It's not an easy process. It's very time consuming, requires a good bit of skill, and the right tools to do an entire vehicle.
Vinyl isn't cheap...if you end up trying to do it yourself and mess it up, you could be out around $500.

Now to answer your questions.....

Either brand will get the job done and work well. They both have excellent products that are trusted in the industry.
It comes down to what color you want and who offers it.

Here is where I typically go for vinyl:

Good luck

The pros make vinyl look so easy to do on a car. I helped wrap a buddies mustang... My lord was that a pain in the ***. I'll never do it again. Not only did we screw up a number of times, we ruined some of the material so it had to be repurchased. Not including the amount of time it took for us to do.

Echoing above: Don't paint

Wraps are nice - call up a good wrap shop - A friend of mine owns @wrapdynamics in Austin, TX - and he can answer any questions you have about material, color, cost, etc.

Check out their work on Instagram!

Plastidip. Easy and not as expensive if you mess up a panel. You just initially need to get a spray gun or if you want to use their spray cans then you need a special nozzle they make.

I think my customers who appreciate my work the most are those who have tried vinyl wrapping beforehand themselves. It's not impossible to do it yourself, but it definitely is not so easy that you can just breathe on the material and it lays down perfectly every time, haha.

Unfortunately in my area there is serious price gouging on wrapping cars. I wanted to do the V but Ill settle on paint correction and CQuartz

What were you trying to have wrapped and what prices were you being quoted in your area?
