Exclamation Does anyone know this?

Hello,

I'd like to start off by saying that I drive a 2011 C300 Sport, and looking into buying a body kit. I am curious to know if there are any differences between the C63 and the C300. Obviously the mechanical parts are completely different but cosmetically is there any difference in the rear bumper and side skirts? I know the front bumper is completely different however since I am interested in a body kit, would I need to purchase all bumpers and side skirts, or just the front bumper? Please help I have tried the search bar.

Everything from the A pillars forward is different. C63 is longer. Everything from the A pillars back is the same except the skirts and diffuser

you need to modify your air intake because the front will be extended. THAT is the hard part.

That would be a lot of modification and $$$ to be spent. I would recommend just buying a c63

agreed, by the time you're done you could've put a nice down payment on a c63.

They serve as replacement body parts for c63's, but they will fit the non-c63s. After bumper, fenders, and hood added you will have to find a way to extend the air intake, and figure out how far the lights move up. Crumble zones prolly wont work the same lol.

Gary from SUVNEER sells a facelift amg style bumper made for the non-c63s on the forums here.

All the info provided by the other members was just an insight into what OP can look forward to. I actually would prefer for others to tell me what all is to be expected if I was to venture down on a project that others have done before. Not really any trolling or messing going on....surprisingly enough lol.

Not worth it I would say. Between people who will call you a poser and the amount of money involved you would be better with just buying an used C63.
I do have a rear bumper for sale if you decide to move forward. GL

Sure the C63 looks a little better, but it's not different enough to go through the trouble and expense. You'd be better off finding a used C63. You're going to end up sinking a lot of money in parts, and in the end you're still driving C300. I don't get it, but hey, it's your car. I don't think many people buy the C63 for the looks, I'm pretty sure it's the engine.

Find a used C63. You'll be happier in the long term and it won't **** away as much money.

Buy once cry once.

Unless you get a car with headbolt issues. Then you'll cry at least twice.
