2013 Mercedes C63 AMG
Attention: Admins (Sub Section for B/S/T)

Guys,

I personally think that it would be a great idea to have a sub section under C63 AMG (204) which would be dedicated to Buying/Selling/Trading).

This would keep the general population clean. Which would also make selling/buying/trading much easier and cleaner as well.

Just food for thought.

I am willing, and I'm sure others are as well, to manage the section if you do not have an available moderator.

What do you guys think?

Hi I'm interested in a 2012 c63 with 8,000 miles; is that too much?

Relavant: there is already a place in the classifieds for mercedes vehicles.

I wish this was the case. I know there is a classified section but its for ALL MB vehicles. If I know what I want (C63 items), I should be able to just browse those. Better yet, put a section like that and make sure that every post has at the minimum the following info:
-Item
-Brand
-Fit (the seller doesnt have to know whether it fits a PFL or FL or whatever, but at least give the year of the car and model type so that if I have the same i know it fits or if i dont its on me to figure it out, such as 2013 C63 Coupe)
-Description of Quality (Used, new, damaged, etc)
-Price (yes, must have a price but can be $700 OBO)
-Sellers Location
-Does it include shipping? Willing to ship? etc
-PICTURES

Basically what I am saying is the forums would become much better for selling if there was a selling structure that everyone had to follow or their listing gets taken down till they can fill out all the info.

Like Slow said, if they dont have admins to moderator, I would also be happy to help.

I used to visit a forum where your title had to look something like this:

"FS(GA)2011 Mercedes C63 - (Title of the thread)"

It was a big help when using the search button or felt like browsing for items related to your car.

The way that the classified section is setup now it makes it near impossible to browse for parts related to your car.

Another forum had a sub section for each model, ex. W204. This was the most convenient way for buyers and sellers. But it does put more pressure on Admins to monitor everything.

I just commented in this thread, I think it is a brilliant idea to have a dedicated C63 for sale area because I never look in the for sale area because it is a pain to sift through all the C300 junk and it is why everyone just posts their for sale stuff in the general C63 forum instead!

You've not learned how to use the search function in the FOR SALE forum?

This! You need to search the classified section for your particular needs. We do not typically have "for sale" sub-forums for each Mercedes model.

Just my opinion, of course I can just search it, seems forums are about 50/50 some mix it all together, some tie a for sale sub forum to each model - I find that simpler and easier to browse and think it is a good way to do it, but not my forum, I just hang out here.

Perhaps I'm not seeing what you are referring to........ Where are there "for sale" sub-forums for individual models?

Not sure how you can confuse the c300 stuff with the c63...some things are compatible like aftermarket diffusers, other things aren't...you aren't gonna find ROW airboxes for the c300. Not sure how any of it is junk...

Sorry, did not mean here, meant on other boards, like bimmerfest puts it all together, bimmerpost does for sale by model.
