First step

What's up guys recently bought a 2012 c63 coupe just wanted your advice on things. Do you guys think it looks nicer with the chrome bits or going for an all black look I know it's more of my preference but just wanted to get your guys opinion. Also if I do go for the all black look what do you guys recommend wrapping it myself or plasti dip. Never tried plasti dip but saw a few videos online. Thanks

Also when I purchased the car the dealership had said tjat the previous owner bought a Mercedes exhaust on it how do I make sure that's true. It sounds loud but I want it to be louder any suggestions. I live in a state with strict emissions inspection.

Wrap it. there's a how to through the search button. LoL Mercedes exhaust.... It'll probably be fine. For strict a strict emissions state ( assuming California) i'm sure most vendors will tell you if it's CA legal. Car looks good though.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but if the tips are stamped AMG it should be stock. In that case if you want a louder exhaust i'm going to suggest IPE. It's just my personal favorite, and I hopefully plan on it making it's way on to my AMG in the next two months or so.

A lot of people here like to black out their chrome.. Personally I like chrome especially with a black car. It all comes down to personal preference.

The chrome does look nice that's why I'm hesitant to wrap the chrome bits but I definetly agree with you it does come down to personal preference.

I like to keep some chrome as accents to break up the lines a bit. If you want to go full stormtrooper you can black it out. I usually reference my chrome to black ratio with what wheels I run and the grill.

Chrome-paint over plastic (there is zero 'real' chrome on the car) is just tacky. Dump it.

+1, I think the chrome around the windows is fine, the trunk piece and side markers can be wrapped though. Oshammo, just use 3M vinyl wrap, really easy to use. Can use a heat gun or blowdryer as well to get any little bubbles out.

Remove Secondary cats and replace with straight pipes. No need to get a full exhaust and waste money.

Wait! What? Next you're gonna tell me that beautiful, throaty sound the M4 makes is piped in through the sound system! [scoff!]

yeah my friend has been telling me to go that route I just might do it. Would that pass emissions though?
