Michelin Pss rotation
Has anyone tried to rotate or swap tires, for the michelin pss?
What i mean is , dismout the tire and swap left to right, without changing direction. This would put side out of the tire into inside.
The reason is, i dont see a benifit if you swap the tire and change the direction. The inner side of the tire are still going be wear more.

PSS should be labelled outside, so you can just swap them left to right as they are non directional, but it really buys you nothing as the inside will still wear more quickly - on my X5 I used to do it as they cupped running in one direction all the time, so switching them left to right and back every 3k stopped the cupping and noise the cupping caused, but otherwise no real reason to do it.

with my winter setup, 4 square, when I rotate, should I keep the left on left and just rotate back to front?

This is pure internet lore (or you are mixing this up with directional tires), find me a tire manufacturer that tells you not to do this, Michelin does not. If tires are a non directional square setup, the standard tire rotation in fact does exactly this where the rears move forward and the fronts move to the opposite side rears.
With a non square setup, right left rotation of non directional tires is the recommendation.

No worries, there may be an argument about if it really makes any sense to do it however, maybe if you have an open diff and are wearing one side more than the other it is worth doing, otherwise, probably not really worth doing in a staggered setup.

Michelin uses polyurethane bands instead of metal, so there's probably even less chance of a catastrophic failure.
