best mods for making power with m156
Guys I need your help,
i've been seeing some m156 c63s making good power on the dynos on instagram as well as random YouTube videos. I have a m156 e63 and I'd like to start doing what's needed to make it even faster. Can you guys kinda give me a road map to what I should do? Thanks!

Upgraded header bolts.
What happens with these cars is that the engines actually make so much power from the factory, that as exhaust gas is being pushed through the headers, overtime, the bolts begin to stretch and such, a gap between the block and the headers begins to open up and a lot of power is lost by way of zero back pressure.
All you have to do is order and install the new bolts, and you'll notice an immediate increase in throttle sensitivity and feel as the turbos no longer have to spool the supercharger to create boost in the vacuum.
EDIT: Okay that was fun, but headers and a tune and you'll be all smiles.

"Making more power" doesn't necessarily translate into a faster car. You can try weight reduction / un sprung weight reduction. Drive line improvements etc. All which should net a "quicker" car.

Tune, ROW, Flex Fuel = 470-480whp (roughly a 90whp increase over stock, takes 2 hours to install everything and you can do it all yourself if you're handy). If you want to get over 500whp, just add injectors and long tubes.
