My First Track Day. Any east coasters attending?

I have signed up for Saturday. It will be my first time on a road course and getting pretty excited about it!
I've read all the track day checklists and think I will be prepared. Just need to buy a helmet, change my brake fluid and get the tech sheet signed off.

You will surely have fun!
Actually the most fun you can have with your clothes on!
Remember you are probably NOT going to impress your instructor but you can definitely scare him/her. <(not a good thing)

I know I won't be fast, or probably even good. this first time out. Just want to get my feet wet and do something I have always wanted to. But it's close, pretty cheap and hopefully lots of fun! And if I fall in love with it I will probably pick up something cheap to take in the future to work on skills over speed.

Wobble64 and others have checklists here, it's worth a read.

And remember to use Bounty paper towels, they're the best!
If I would add anything for a first track day, definitely have an instructor ride with you for at least the first session, and then again in the afternoon. Driving instruction is the single most important thing you can spend time and money on when it comes to this. And pay attention in the classroom - it will make you a better and more considerate/aware driver, and everyone appreciates that!
Have fun!

Thanks, I read through a lot of those checklists and saw the Bounty reference. This particular group I believe requires an instructor in the car for the novice class, and then those instructors get to run for free.
