NY Auto show, any event by Private Lounge?
Has the AMG Private Lounge ever organized a viewing for members at the NY Autoshow, in a special (not for free) admission group, say other than general admission hours?
It would be nice to have a way to avoid the crowding I've seen in recent years.

AMG PL invited members to special showings at LA Auto show maybe 3 years back, but they stopped it. They said they wouldn't bring it back. So I'm guessing that it won't happen at NY Auto show.

I'm going to try to post something in the Lounge Forum, I think there's a section that deals with events.
At the same time, I'm hearing that there's a local exotic car club that DOES get this facility and other forums like Corvette get this too.
So I don't see a real problem here, because we're not asking them to make this free and because the organizers probably DO have a timeslot for fans and club members.
Last time I went, you could not approach the AMG section because it was literally ringed with kids trying to take selfies, some cars you could not even see because there were so many people around them.

Anything.
To get my wife some time to sit in a Mini Cooper, we had to wait for a guy with 4 kids for each of the kids to take turns to sit at the steering wheel and play with the controls......
It seemed that we would have been better off just going to the dealer.
BTW, I posted in the Lounge a thread with a question, let's see if there's any kind of response.

Private Lounge used to have a preview night at the NY auto show for AMG owners with food and cocktails on the Thursday night before the opening for a few years but unfortunately ended the practice about 3 years ago. It was great while it lasted.

So my thread is located in the Private Lounge, under
AMG Experiences/AMG Lounge get-togethers.
I checked out their sticky and see below a quotation:
AMG Private Lounge Owner Get-Togethers are supported by the AMG Private Lounge if at least twenty (20 ) AMG Private Lounge members attend the event
I don't know yet what exactly "supported" can mean, but I am asking members that find this interesting to subscribe to my thread. Let's show them 20 members subscribed and let's get their support, let's see what the support brings..
