Jumping to this late... but it was well worth the read.

Like Kriston, I had my own run-in with the local constabulary when I got nabbed doing 184 km/h bedding in my race pads a few years ago. Wasn't racing anyone or doing anything idiotic like these a$$wipes... had about 3 km of straight, 400-series, 4-lane-wide highway with a ~20 m wide median all to myself... except for the OPP car that was hiding in the weeds in the median. The rest was painful and very expensive (they wouldn't plead 84 over the limit down to speeding)... but at least it wasn't this stupid and careless. If there ever was a case for suspending someone's license, this is it.
