LOL they didnt for me

admittedly EC Toronto really moved on from the W204 as they should. They have gotten super busy over the years. the service is not what it use to be.

Quote: If you go to EC Canada they will print you a 500WHP dyno sheet.

I recall something about them using STD correction and it being "industry standard" or whatever...

Poof 500WPH brah!

When you can run a 10.8@131mph now on just a tune and drag wheels/tires, who cares about dyno numbers and hp? We live in a fact-free alternate reality now, nothing matters anymore.

Hahaha found this unicorn on YouTube? This guy claims 600+ HP and 500+ trq from and Ec v5 tune and ROW air boxes. Plus Apparently the only C63 that comes stock with black series brakes.

It's a funny one.
If he's talking about numbers at the engine, he is close. The 500rwhp/420rwtq cars put out 600+ HP and 500+ Torque at the engine.

He isn't putting down anything close to 500 wheel without headers. At best, he's ~440 wheel

He might as well be talking about numbers at the exothermic discombobulator. The is no way on earth that a C63 with an otherwise stock M156 motor and drivetrain will deliver anywhere near 500 RWHP with just a tune and aftermarket air filters under any circumstances.

I live in Toronto so I went to EC to install my MBH lth, their “V8 tune” and installed afe filters.

Running Petro Canada 94 octane and on their dyno jet it number were 492 whp, 446 wtq. I felt like those numbers were pretty high for the mods I’ve done. I was also told if I ran e85 I’d hit about 530whp. We don’t have e85 available here so I didn’t bother.

14’ C63 edition 507 sedan.

im currently waiting on the snow to melt so I can start on a custom tune with @hachiroku !

It's likely because they used STD correction instead of SAE. Reads much higher.

You’re right, they used STD smoothing: 5. How much does this actually change? Either way I can’t wait to get a custom tune done to get my car to run the way it should and take her to the strip!
