Don't want to rain on your parade but parts for a complete trans service from my dealer in the fall were $204 CDN which at today's rate of exchange is about $150 US.

This includes a large pump for fluid and the adapter for the transmission. Those alone were $120. But, I did say OBO! I'm just looking for another enthusiast to take it off my hands.

You should be able to return it to ECS did you try contacting them?

Ya but you still have to drop the pan to do the filter so a $5 plastic pan from Walmart does the trick to catch it once you crack a corner of the pan so the pump is kind of just a way to be neat. ECS is making money on something you really don't need.
As suggested, they may take it back.

The pump is for putting the fluid back into the transmission. You need the pump and adapter for that.
