Muffler delete?

Muffler delete?
whats up guys I just had a quick question, I recently bought a c63 and it came with a resonator delete and I love the noise but I want it even louder. On my previous car I had a muffler and resonator delete and the drone was ****ing horrible. Does anyone have any experience with the muffler and resonator delete on the c63 and how bad the drone was? Or if you think their is a better route to getting it louder
Thanks
Thanks

Steps to more sound
1. Secondary cat delete
2. Primary cat delete
3. Headers
Our mufflers are amplifiers. Don't touch them. You won't Ike the sound without them.

Answer is it depends, car won't know the difference as the O2 sensors are before the secondaries, so if an OBDII test only will pass no problem, if they use a tailpipe sniffer, it will probably pass fine also when warmed up - visual inspection it will fail if they actually do one and notice it should have a secondary cat (not required by law to have secondaries and the CLS with an M156 didn't have secondaries actually).

You got lucky. It's highly illegal in CA to touch any part of the OE emissions system, including secondary cats, and you should have been caught in testing. Not on the actual result of, but definitely on the visual. Probably would have failed 99/100 times. (although I'm glad you didn't)
It's been discussed a million times. There's no real debate about CA being strict on exactly this thing.
(I just read that CA has gone to OBD2 testing, and that visual inspection is only under the hood. Only an OBD2 fail would trigger an underbody inspection. Is this really true?)

Yes. As someone who lives in CA, I can attest to this rule being non-sense. You can have any modification to your exhaust as long as it's after the cats. As long as you run factory headers and cats, not secondary cats, you'll pass 100% of the time.
I'm running factory headers and factory cats... period. No secondaries, no resonator, no mufflers. Sounds godly, but it's loud. Just passed smog with flying colors.
If you have an aftermarket intake, you'll fail visual as that's the only "visual" aspect in CA.

never have had them look under any of my cars. Always an engine bay inspection (well sometimes. other times they dont even pop the hood). OBD2 is now at star smog station and migrating to some of the non star stations. A lot of the random shops still use the sniffer.
