Hello all,

I saw a few 507 editions and other C63s out there with a different type of grill. Maybe a little hard to explain but there is a "bubble" around the Mercedes logo unlike a normal C63 where it is vented. For example look at the picture attached. Does anyone have one for sale or know where to get a grill like this?

The cars that have that grill have the distronic cruise control option.

I did a grill swap on an R170 and they use the OEM grill star. They just clip in.
See if you can find one the same diameter and my bet it will fit. The 2014

This is a pic off Bekkers of a regular W204 with a solid star which should fit.

umm... that picture of a regular C63 has the "vented" star not the solid one with the cruise control thing.

w204 = c-class, both AMG and non AMG

Had one on my 507. If I kept the car I was going through convert it to open style, very ugly IMHO

I understand that w204 is a chassis code but that it still a "vented" grill in the photo

To each their own. IMHO it gives it a meaner appearance once it is done correctly and has most of the chrome blacked out.

After doing more research. I have come to the conclusion that I'm not going to do this conversion due to it being too expensive. I rather put my money into other parts that will have more of a visual impact. Also, not having the cruise control isn't going to kill me.
