Guys about to order tires no time for searching 245/40 or 245/35 for front?

I'm trying to play with rolling diameters trying to keep it as close to stock as possible but upsizing the tires front and rear on stock 18 wheels.

I'm thinking 245/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear but the rolling diameters are not 25.2 like oem setup for front and rear.

The closest I can get is 25.6 and 25.7 with 245/40 and 275/35 with pilot super sports.

Can a 245/40 fit the front wheel without issues?

My real question is if the supersports run to wide and if a space is needed.i read the sticky page with saying some 275 will clear depending on brand

You're going to be fine. It's more important to make sure the new tires are as close as possible in diameter front/back for ABS/TC purposes. Matching the OE diameter is of less importance - speedo may be off fractionally that's all.

In my experience you can generally fit up to a 26" diameter tire in front until you get rubbing.

Agreed....it looks for the difference in rotational correllation front vs rear, not what the actual rolling diameter is....so if there is a 3% variation in size with the OEM tires then you could go with a set of 35x15.50s as long as the 3% overall difference remained intact. (i hate agreeing with the Search Sheriff!!!)

Just got back from the dealership.i ordered just the rears for 305 each all in .

I went with the p zeros because the supersport was backordered and just went with new rears to match my p zeros in the front that are already on the car.

610 installed with road hazzard.i know I could of saved 75 bucks but the dealer won't f up my wheels mounting them.

Actually it tracks pretty good. When I first put them on it had a slight pull to the left but after the initial "break-in" first 100 miles or so it feels just like the stock tires. No pull .. just straight and smooth.

Finally someone has the right answer. I
do not understand why these question keep coming up. There is no need to guess.
1010Tire and TireRack offer the same tools.
The other thing is too many people think tire sized and forget that little important tidbit called offset. It matters.
