Been having trouble charging my phone for the past few weeks. Everytime I plug it in it would start charging but then immediately stop charging. Anyone else experience this issue before?

What USB? Do you have a w205...?

2013 W204 has 2 USB outlets in the console box. Change ports if you have 2. If you have 2 and both do not work change the cable. If you have just one change the cable.

W204 2012+ MY have a USB port for data/power
OP try the OEM cable that came with your phone, or a charge only cable. If cable or cable terminal issues have been ruled out, could be loose wiring at the USB port itself

A lot of times it's a cable issue. Try a new OEM one.

Thank you guys for the tips unfortunately I did buy a brand new cable and it also didn't work. I have the w204 and it only has one single USB slot in the console. I'm beginning to think that the USB cable wiring may be loose if so should I just take it in and have them fix it or try it myself?

Bummer! Not sure I can say without messing you up.
What year is your car? What market (area) are you in?
Another suggestion now my brain is in gear.
We have two charging cable snaking out from under the armrest so my mind said I have 2 USB cable ports. I don't. I have one.
The other is the MB connector which is beside it. Into it I have the MB media cable with the USB end. The other phone is connected to that so look for a cable that looks like this:
