I live in Albuquerque New Mexico where it can reach 110+ and my car (2013) has never overheated.. even on track days it stays a rock solid 85-90C.

If you're not hitting limp mode on track in those conditions after just a couple laps, you're definitely not driving fast enough

Seriously though, "rock solid 85-90C"? That's 194F. Water should stay stable, even on track I rarely see much above 200F. What about OIL temps, because that's what triggers limp mode not WATER temp.

What is an acceptable and safe range for oil temps when car is being pushed? Did some "spirited driving" with a lot of full throttle pulls and the car oil peaked at 117 C or 243 F in about 25C / 77F weather.

Car goes into limp at 268 I believe. Also, if you're worried, there was a thread about building and installing the plate in the front bumper that redirects some airflow and reduces oil temps.
