722.9 AMS/EXEDY clutch pack upgrade
Maybe you misunderstood the OP so I hope this clarifies it. They are however exclusively sold through AMS (I posted the link to the exact item a few posts up) but it looks like a few vendors may be able to provide a discount.
Most of the time AMS does not offer additional discounts on multiple orders at one time

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Car has been parked for the passed few months as I have another daily.
I ran consistent 11.1's@125 before putting it away. Nothing but positive things to say but, I don't want to go overboard either as I haven't installed a blower yet or really put it to the test power wise. I feel like the combination of the carbon driveshaft and the more positive shifts at full throttle helped contribute to my consistent times. It has more snap out of the hole and I got my 60ft's down to 1.62, I don't think anybody with MBH headers n/a has gotten them that low considering my MPH is only at 125. Given the MPH I seem to be down on power compared to others who run low 11's regularly and a higher MPH, so I think the advantage is partly driveshaft, partly trans.
Definitely need a blower to see if it truly holds the power levels, i'm just waiting to see some more results. I was almost set on the magnuson for this platform but I'm really digging the new ESS setup with the gen 3 rotor group. My S550 mustang friends have done extremely well with the whipple blowers and this new cooling advantage would elevate it's performance as it has shown. Id like to see a deal on a complete stage 2 setup as almost all of the guys going with a blower already have or will get headers moving forward and require more boost anyway.
Including injectors and big boost choices as a package would be key right out of the box.
I will drive the car daily in the spring provided I don't give into the Audi RS3 urge that's killing me.
I'll continue to update as power is increased.
based on what I have seen, every local MCT equipped E63 with big boost and or upgraded twins Is running this setup and not experiencing any slippage issues, which for me, after seeing the results and speaking at length with the reputable trans shop was enough to pull the trigger and not look back. This season should provide more results provided weather cooperates.
11.1 NA is quick. Going to be insane once you get blown

MBH headers catless w mids and x pipe
Row boxes w afe filters
Eurocharged V7 tune
DSS carbon driveshaft
AMS exedy clutchpacks in trans w weistec trans pan
Front and rear seats removed
Sparco Evo driver seat
C350 rear brake conversion
Clk wheels w hoosier drag radial
225/50/16
Braille 21 lbs battery.
Before seat removal, V7, Trans upgrade and carbon shaft as well as c350 rear brake conversion w clk wheels i was running 11.5's at 121-122. So 4 tenths and 1.62 60ft compared to my 1.78's before.... lots of variables but all simple mods and i'm really not sure how much V7 added over V6, i noticed a seat of the pants difference in the midrange but nothing much up top.

Trying to resist the urge to buy an RS3.....
I was gonna go to him for some LSD work, but i went a different direction.
If anything, shipping to OH would be a lot more reasonable, with less downtime than a West Coast specialist.

(by the way Ted, I’m talking to Florian at limitedslip.de, we should trade notes)
Thanks Brad, will try blackbenzzzzzzzzzz
Yeah, thanks guys. I know Shep very well - we were OG DSM guys back in the early 90’s. He’d easily be my first choice, but I’m ideally looking for a good transmission guy near NYC that I don’t have to ship the trans to, but could just have it dropped off from my local shop. Clutch packs are already on the way thanks to Shardul @ UPD.

I was hoping to see a few more folks having had success with these AMS packs as I have heard from a few folks that internal parts can vary even for same model/year on those 722.9s - Anyway I blew my trans up (TCU clutch packs and converter, lot of stuff failed at same time nuts I know) about a year ago. So I got a nice low mile unit off eBay for about what these clutch packs cost and swapped that nice and easy. Got new TCU/valvebody/wet clutch of course, but I went the replace route because at the time that was only thing I could find as no one wanted to rebuild it and i wasn’t sure on parts etc (Weistec discontinued their kit or I would’ve likely done that) So having swapped the trans out, I have the entire original trans on the shelf in the shop. So I’m thinking of buying all necessary rebuild parts and just putting on shelf so IF the day ever comes again, I’ll be ready and improved ideally. The biggest issue I’ve had in doing this is finding an upgrade for clutches (luckily I found this thread & AMS tonight!) so that’s step 1 (assuming they really fit/work) Now I need to find a good shop or guy around Philly who is comfortable rebuilding it!

I have the ams clutches on my 2013 c63. They do work for the pfl car as well as I’m aware of supercharged ess car running them and he told me they are great. I believe the member “Shardul” can get them for a good price shipped. You won’t be disappointed.
The main reason for my upgrade was because I’m running a 175 shot and was blowing through gear 2-3-4. Now the car just bites and grabs the gear. As in terms of performance I believe they can handle 1000wtq. But who knows. Heat is the biggest killer of clutches. No matter if they are upgraded or not they all have a breaking point. But if you properly, they should take the abuse. I only do highway pulls, so no hard launches. Time will only tell since I can’t find that info either.

And I imagine the factory packs can handle most bolt on c63 power as I assume the 507s run same packs and all? Thing that actually scared me (other than seeing my obliterated clutches @ 30k miles was when I talked to my local Indy shop they knew of another 63 car with a wider tire (I’m also running 275 Pilot Sport 4s out back) who “raced his car” and was rebuilding the trans every 6 months or so they said 😐 so that scared me a bit more. I drive mine hard like it’s meant to be driven, not to say I launch it at every light haha, but I like some peace of mind where possible. And I’m on wider tire, EC V7 tune, row intake and secondary cat+res delete so I’d like to think I’m around 525 or maybe 400-425 at the rear wheels - so maybe I’m going nuts, but I think it’ll give peace of mind, and maybe I’ll just do fluid and filter swaps every 2/3 oil changes to keep eye on it and keep it operating at peak performance.
Anyway I plan on messaging the Shardul guy if I pull the trigger on these so appreciate that.

My valve body is stock. I’m running a weistec pan and additional trans cooler
I was FBO with headers and 75 shot on my first c63 up too 70k miles original clutch packs. I never did burnouts or launches. That’s what abuses the clutch packs...
