So I ordered the gaskets, since they were easy to find. Cant seem to find the other part on any OE sites that stock MB products

He can help.
I replaced all of the studs and you need new copper nuts for sure. Some of the nuts seized on the studs so you may not need all new studs but i replaced them anyway.

Whatever you're doing, just order replacement studs and nuts now. First of all, the copper nuts are a one-time use item. So you 100% need all new ones. Secondly, just assume that half of the studs will either back out or break. The last thing you want is to have everything apart, and you're missing a stud. Get some antiseize and some copper RTV (to stick the gaskets to the head while you're wrestling the headers into place) while you're at it too. Don't half-*** this thing like you want to do everything else, you DO NOT want to do it again.
Sorry for the threadjack skratch77

Are you doing this yourself? Please read up on the header DIY threads, because all the parts numbers are in there.

Researching coatings and found a shop that does a copper coating to the inside of the pipes. Anyone have experience w this?
(not sure if this counts as threadjacking, but sure we don't need another exhaust thread)

Just stick with something that's been proven to work like Swain Tech or JetHot.

Thanks, as a follow up it seems the company offering the "copper" interior coating increases the maximum temp. Basic coating is 1500F, with copper it is increased to 1700F. Either way now checking out Jethot.
