Hood alignment

Has anybody experienced a gap where the hood meets the front bumper, on the left side "post"? I've read over in the general W204 section that this is fairly common and caused by the hood not being closed perfectly. Have C63 owners experienced this as well?

Post a picture so we can see how much of a "gap" there is.

It's about a quarter of an inch difference. I can fit a finger, tightly, in the driver's side gap, but not the passenger's side.

So this is the passenger side:

Could it be something as stupid as the hood isn't closed properly? I've tried opening and closing it a few times but maybe I need to be more forceful.

I just checked mine, it looks exactly the same as yours. I've noticed the passenger side needs an extra push when re-latching. So I actually drop the hood gently, then push on each side above the latch to make sure it's closed all the way.

Just turn the adjustment knob clockwise on that side until it matches the left side.

This

There's also some play in the latch and bumper mounting points you can adjust that can reduce it.
