Why are you even asking??

it doesnt have red headlights, it has a red led mounted inside of the projector housing which strictly acts as an accent color...i do those quite frequently when retrofitting headlights for people and for the most part i use RGB leds with a bluetooth module so that you can shift the color to any of the 16,000,000 hues RGB leds allow you to reproduce....yes, they are kind of "to each his own" taste but i will say that when done right they can actually look pretty damn aggressive and not that ricey at all

JP, isn't it illegal in most (all??) U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions to have a RED colored light on the FRONT of your vehicle? I believe the law is there to ensure that the front end of a moving vehicle is never mistaken for being the rear at night, for obvious reasons.

I know for sure that in Texas that is the case, as when I lived there, I actually checked the applicable laws as I thought RED front SIGNAL lamps on a motorcycle would help to make it more visible to car drivers, but when I checked the wording f Texas state law, it specifically disallowed the use of any red lighting on the front of a vehicle, and flashing red was particularly forbidden because it would falsely make the vehicle appear to be a police vehicle.

I could see it looking nice for shows and meets, if there were other matching colored areas. For everyday use though....meh.

Looks kinda like having brake lights on the front of the car.
Hmmm . . .what could possibly go wrong?

It really is not that bad when all the other lights in the housing are on as well....a lot of my customers DO use them for shows but a lot also have them set up so that when they leave their vehicle parked somewhere only the accent light stays on giving a kind of haunted/mysterious look.. Like it or not it is more times than not a conversation starter....

....as for the legality it has nothing to do with brake light mistaken identity....you cannot run the following colors forward facing on any vehicle in the US due to service vehicle status:
Blue-Police
Red-Fire/Rescue
Yellow-Service(ie. Power,Gas,Water,Sanitation)
Most areas are pretty lax about enforcing it unless some idiot has LED strobes installed and is driving around strobing Blue like their 5.0

If you want to see well done then go to LightWerkz YouTube link below and scan through their videos....it's ok though, you're going to be impressed and I'm not going to make fun of you when you have one of those "Oh, that's bad as Hell!" moments!!!
