What are these pipes made out of? Adamantium?!?
Today I attempted to install Mike's power pipe on my car. It ended in failure.
I think im decent with tools. I can swap out a turbo on a Subaru and rebuild brake calipers on a BMW MCoupe. However I got crushed trying to do a secondary cat delete on a c63!
I was not able to cut the driver side pipe to remove the secondary cats.
Attempt 1: borrowed a chain style cutter from auto parts store. Tried to cut for an hour. Nope. I figured the cutter had dulled from previous use.
Attempt 2: borrowed another exhaust cutter from a different auto parts store. This one looked brand new. Tried to cut for 40 mins. Failed again. The chains looked pretty beat when i was done.
Has anyone been able to cut these with a chain style cutter? If so, how much steroids are you, or your chain cutter, taking?
Next steps for me are to either a) buy a sawzall or b) just take it somewhere and get it done.
Thanks for listening.

He used a sawzall but ended up wearing out 4 sawzall blades cutting them out. Your mileage may vary!
I kept the cats for nostalgia and the steel really is very thick.
