My C63 AMG is obsidian black and I wanted to change my emblem color and wanted some suggestions or pictures.
Ive seen matte black on black cars and that seems to be the most common. Stock emblems(silver) is ok but I was also thinking about matte grey. Nothing glassy and all matte. Thinking of Plasti dip red the “63” and the AMG “logo” and maybe grey on others.
Any thoughts?
lastly, in case I mess up, dip dissolver is best? Just spray on dry surface and pressure wash?
I've never been a fan of plasti-dipped emblems (or any matte ones for that matter). On a black car, I'd think a black-chrome or smoked emblems would look best.
Red/colored emblems never look good, in my opinion.
take the emblems off (but mark on the car where to reinstall them) and spray them with VHT night shades tail light tint. Gives a nice black chrome look after 3 or 4 layers.
