Shops to replace M156 head bolts near Pensacola Florida?
Does anyone know of a trusted shop to replace the head bolts on a 2009 C63 near Pensacola Florida? I would like to have it done but cannot find a shop near me. Thank you in advance

Eurocharge Orlando does great work as well as Euro Auto House http://www.euroautohouse.com
Euro Auto House's owner is an excellent AMG mechanic and did my head bolts

FWIW I called around to a few reputable shops in the San Francisco Bay area. All but one said don't waste your money, that the failure is rare. The one shop that did actually give me a quote for about $1800 said he'd do it if "I really wanted to" but didn't think it was necessary. He also said he'd guarantee the intake manifold gasket for a year but not the head gaskets as he wouldn't be replacing the head gasket. When I was in DC I also called around, 2 shops said it was a dealer only repair and another shop with two MB techs that had 40+ years of experience between the two techs said waste of money. Don't want to start a holy war on the head bolt thing but thought it was an interesting data point that most shops I called weren't interested in taking my money. Still on the fence on whether or not to get it done as at least on this forum it seems inevitable that a bolt is going to fail

There are been plenty that have failed. And plenty of guys who did the preventative replacement have posted pictures of bolts that were close to failure.
If it fails, it becomes a much more expensive job.
The fact the Mercedes-Benz redesigned the headbolts is all the proof you need to know their is a problem.
I would get it done.

It's not if they will fail but WHEN. I replaced mine. It helps me sleep at night. It's ultimately your call, but I like things to be bulletproof. It was also a good opportunity to replace the lifters with the updated ones and have the motor inspected. They took all the carbon off the pistons, cleaned and decked my heads, and told me my valvetrain showed almost no wear at 90k miles. While everything was apart, I also had them do weistec billet pulleys.
