FS: Excellent Condition Remus Catback

Sale pending for Monday 3/5.

Hi All,

have been playing around with various exhausts in search of the perfect one for my ARH Long tubes.

got these from @schulminator when he parted out his car. They had about 3k miles on them when he removed them, and I added another 200-300miles.

I am selling them because I found they are too tame. It definitely brought back a clearer more controlled exhaust note - more “AMG” like. As a benchmark, if headers + stock mufflers + res delete is a 10/10 in loudness. These brought the volume level down to a 7/10. But with a lot more bass. This video is EXACTLY how it sounds:

Definitely loud on the outside, but to really enjoy them, i had to always wind down my windows. also my car is a 2015, and for some reason, compared to my buddies 2013 with mods like 2ndary cat delete, it was never loud enough in the car. I read somewhere that the 2015 weighs more than the 2014 earlier models, and i think it has to do with noise insulation. For example, with 2ndary cat + stock resonator delete. The car was PROPERLY loud outside, but inside, it left a lot to be desired. My bud did the same on his 2013, and it was the perfect volume.

Seeking something louder, I bought Tpete19s meisterschaft GT2, and although now I am way too loud, it’s easier quieting down the exhaust. Than to mod the Remus and make it louder. Hence these are up for sale.

Full disclosure:
I paid $1,400 + $175 incl PayPal fees shipped to me. am looking to get back what I paid for them, or trade for Armytrix/FI valvetronic system. Btw the tips are not the round ones that came from Remus, but Frequency Intelligent tips, that fill the gaps PERFECTLY. See pics below.

Am currently running ARH headers -> 200cel kittens -> xpipe ->200 cel kittens -> Meisterschaft GT2 Titanium.

The second set of cats make the car more bearable but having a little drone from 1.8k-2.3k rpms. So am thinking about what else I can do. Otherwise. Volume + Tone is exactly what I want.

Any advice?

LTH —> 200 cell HFC - straight into the eisenmann race. No secondary cats or resonators.

I am about to pull the trigger on a set of the Meisterschaft axlebacks. I am currently running MBH LTH with the x pipe. Have any videos of the sound?

Wow! I was looking at gt stainless from vivid because i didnt like the burnt titanium tips with the GT2, and was told they are backordered. If you look at Meister's Facebook page, there are alarming comments on there about delivery delays.

In in terms of sound, there is one YouTube video out there from a fellow member.
i believe the GT2 is the same as the GT, just in titanium vs ss. Compared to everything I have heard, this is one of the best sounding exhausts for our cars. Has the rumble and burble with an exotic depth to it.

I am struggling with quieting it down now, and have literally exhausted any available space to add cats/resonators. If I could do this all again. I might have gone with the armytrix. But my goodness the meisterschaft is pretty. If you havent placed your order. i may sell my current setup.

by any chance do you have any exhaust clips of this setup?

im currently running MBH LTH deleted cats into an x-pipe and deleted secondary cats with stock oem mufflers. I don’t find my car to be that loud unless I’m on it.. but I would like to get a deeper note but keep the loudness or even have it bit louder.

ive only found one video of the GThaus Meusterschaft but it’s an old video and not much information on it. It did sound really good though.

ive thought about arkapovic but it might be to tamed for my taste, although I do appreciate the sound it makes.

I also saw a video with the MBH headers and the Remus race exhaust and that sounded pretty good.

Another option is Eisenmann.

another option is armytrix.
