Just stocked up on a pair of PSS 265/35/18 from Discount Tire this weekend and a pair of 235/40/18s the last time they did the promo.
Last time was able to stack the $100 off along with an 8% Ebay Bucks(on a specific day) - promo good til 3/19 so if there's enough supply of what size/model you want, another EB deal may show up before then?

Just got (2X) 275/30-19 PS4s for $500 shipped.
Tire rack is selling the same set for $607 shipped.
Unfortunately they didnt have the fronts in 255/35-19 (I am on stock ride height)

I'm remembering only a 30% difference in price, and I got about 12k mi out of my last set, so the difference isn't THAT big. For me, not having to fight the traction control nanny all the time is well worth the expense. However, your point is good - it's all about what makes each of us happiest.
265s still oos but I need new rears ASAP and they had a few sets of 255s still so went that route. I’ll upsize to 265 next time. So for anyone looking on 18s, you can get PSS in 255 for $100 off.
