Remus exh installed! Ehh its ok
I think I have found the final setup for my taste. I have tried alot of different exh setups on this car and trust me there is a reason there are so many exh threads.
we are all trying to get it to sound like an amg after doing full long tube headers.
The final setup is
fi headers
200 cell magnaflow race cats
remus res
remus cans
Not a huge difference but it took away that trumpet pitch and smoothed the tone out.

sounds nice. I can tell it toned down the high pitched sound headers give. What did the Remus mufflers and resonator cost you?

I'm so close to what I want in it and think if I put the OEM resonator in I'll get exactly what I want.
the best way to describe these is like imaging having base and treble control on the stock mufflers and turning the treble down 4 clicks and the base up 4 if that makes any sense

What did you not like avout the stock mufflers amd resonators that you switched to the Remus set up?
I'm about install a full MBH system when I get them back from SwainTech. I have a totally stock exgaust except for resonator delete.

they sound good giving it up to about 40% but after that the sound is literally 2x louder than stock with headers. I was just trying to smooth it out a bit.

The Remus Mufflers sound nice, you are right they do drone a bit during low speed cruising
The Akra really is the only muffler that i have used that will do exactly what you want with the LTH's and have no drone.
