ARH Headers installed and have some rattles HELP
Got my car back from the shop with the installed ARH headers and v7 tune. Car sounds amazing, but there is this weird rattle/vibration I am getting when I floor it. The throttle pedal at like 3-4k rpm vibrates pretty bad--pretty sure its not supposed to do that. Any thoughts?

What your experiencing is “NVH” , the headers might be hitting the subframe or a part of the car which then will vibrate into the cabin . Check to see if any of the pipes are resting or touching any part of the car underneath and either adjust the section off the manifold itself or if it’s a design flaw just simply pry between contacted area till there is no contact .

It sounds like they may be contacting at wide open throttle. Check the clearance and make adjustments if possible. Also check the condition of the engine mounts. Hopefully it's an easy fix

Look up my ARH header install thread. You have to retighten the clamps and add spacers to your cross bar. You need to add a half inch spacer to the cross bar. The rattling you're hearing is the pipes hitting the cross bar.

Happy to hear this isn’t just my problem but sorry that it is affecting more people. It took me several days of adjusting and even cutting a half inch off one side of the x pipe before I got mine sorted from a vibration stand point. And I still have a small rattle and the tips stick out too much.
I would take take it back to the shop that installed it. If possible.

I had to put spacers under the cross bar as well when I fitted IPE headers and mid pipes.
No rattles after that.

I don’t think it’s the cross bar, I think it’s the header touching the heat shield... I can hear the engine idle and belts and pulleys inside the cabin clear as day like it’s pumping the sound through the speakers. I’m going back to the shop late today to sort it out.

So we fixed all the issues.
Throttle pedal vibration was coming from driver side bracket touching the O2 sensor.
Vibrations/sounds were fixed from putting the spacers on the cross bar, and playing with the foil heat shield. It was rubbing pretty bad.
Thanks for for all the help.

But, it only bolts on at 2 points, one on either side of the car.
I did this quite some time ago. It's possible it was 2 points on either side, in which case we turned up 4 spacers.

There are 2 mounting points on each side, so a total of 4 spacers is needed.

Where would I buy the spacers?

If you can't find spacers you can stack up the correct size washers and get longer bolts to lower the bar so that it doesn't interfere, if that is the source of the vibration. There are four bolts attaching the bar to the chassis, two on each side.
