W204 C63 VS 2014-2016 E63
Looking to trade in my c63 2013 for a E63. I am just really on edge about it. I love my c63 I honestly wouldn't trade this car for the world but I need more power and a stage 2 blower just does not seem it will satisfy my needs lol. With tune and down pipes on e63 it just blows that 15k blower out of the water for the c63. I would just like some honest opinions on the switch as well as pros and cons. My c63 currently has tune and mbh headers. Thanks guys. Honest feedback is highly appreciated

The E63s seems to trap around 130mph with a tune, so I believe even a Stage 1/2 C63 would keep up with a tune/DP E63s. There are a lot of offerings for superchargers now, with some options as low as 8k, like the ESS and Magnuson kits.
If you can afford a supercharger, I would do that. A supercharged C63 will absolutely out perform the E63s. If you want the comfort of the E63, then go that route. Either way, you'll be spending 10k or more to upgrade to the E63 vs supercharging the C63.

I wanted to go with the stage two Weistech but its only 538 whp and that's basically a stock e63. I really don't want the comfort because I love the c63 seats there is nothing like it. The c63 is just perfect its like a little go cart lol. I just really need more power im stuck between the blower and e63 I really don't know what to do.

The E63 also weighs 600lbs. more than the C63. A tune and LTH C63 can trap what they do stock, around 119mph. Trust me, a supercharged C63 walks on an E63. Just go with a blower. It sounds like you want to keep the C63, anyway.

I would stick with the C63, it's much easier to make it go faster without lugging around extra weight, unless your looking for a more comfort which the E63 has in spades.

I have never really heard of ess or seen anyone with there blower systems, plus I don't like anyone that specialize in BMW LMAOOOOOO. @yullie36 it looks like you have the older model e63 I am looking into the 2014 and up version. You guys pretty much have me decided on the blower I'm just hoping I will be able to gain as much power as I need. I Think I will go with the stage 2 weistech unless anyone has anymore reviews on the Magnuson or ess. Thanks everyone I really appreciate it

I'm going to look into ess a little more I don't see too many reviews on them but I will dig a little deeper. I love the c63 and for the money there really is no substitute

Couple guys on here have it and only positive feedback has transpired. They make excellent S/C for BMW.
I also find the 5.5LTT underwhelming. Gobs of torque but not an exciting motor. The 6.2 has a lot more soul I would say. That`s also something to think about.

the only reason to go to the E would be to get a wagon. Short of that forget it. Lots more rattles, suspension isnt nearly as confident when you're pushing it hard. The m157 makes power more easily however it can be a headache. It's much more complex and temper-mental with direct injection. If you cant justify the E other than power. Just do a stage 3 kit and run a larger pulley to run less boost, should get you in the high 500's no problem. The blower changes the way the car drives entirely even without being heavy on the throttle. It's like dropping a 10.0L engine in. instant torque. go drive an older 55 kompressor car. Think about what it lacks and what yours lacks. Let them have the sexuals together and you end up with a blown m156.
