Armytrix mid-pipes for sale
I'm selling these recently purchased catless mid-pipes from armytrix. These pipes are in excellent condition and were on the car for about 1500 miles. They bolt directly up to the factory header and rear resonator section, eliminating all four cats. However, I had a pair of 200 cell race cats welded in last month to eliminate the strong catless smell, which they did. Combined with plm shorty headers these pipes added 36 rwhp to the car. Plm headers are known to add 10-12 hp so these pipes are good for about 25 rwhp. You'll need to have the downstream cats turned off via tune but if you have EC v7 I'm told that feature is already included. Asking $1100 plus shipping. Pipes are located in Columbia, SC if interested in picking up..

It's just too loud. I park on the 7th floor of a parking garage and it sets off alarms and is just a little too aggressive for a professional setting. I was hoping they'd be a little tamer than long tubes but they're not. I'll miss the power dearly though.

Your problem is the rear silencers, they are deliberately loud/unrestricted stock to get the car to sound loud despite x4 cats, a resonator and two silencers. You’ve removed four cats so it was bound to get loud.
You should look for a valved rear silencer set up such as IPE or Agency Power as this will really tone it down to stock levels with the valves closed. Have them closed all the time if you like.

Curious if you ever found a solution to the volume and what that might be?

I'm planning on a similar set-up with the add of some sound reduction prior to the resonators but an injury has it on pause. Will report results if/when I get there.
