How to make my car even louder?

It’s been a bit over a year since I acquired my baby.

Still puts a huge *** smile on my face when I drive to work. Lately I’ve even been having bad dreams about selling the c63, buying a “replacement” (In quotes because there is no replacement) and then being sooo upset that the new car doesn’t come close.

Always glad to wake up and remember that I still have her parked safely.

Anyways, my car already has long tube headers, secondary cat delete. High flow aftermarket primaries. Other than removing primaries, how else can I make the car louder?

I am running MBH headers with their mid pipe and X pipe add ons, no cats into a custom resonator delete and a Meisterschaft axleback. Never heard another C63 like it before, has a deep rumble at low RPMs but screams when opened up. I would start off with a resonator delete if you haven't done so. If that's still not loud enough, grab an IPE or Meisterschaft axleback.

I've heard the Meisterschaft in person on a full bolt oh car and it sounds exotic.

it will get you what you are looking for but then you will be posting how to calm the beast down.

I would try a valved exh setup as that will give you both.

Hahah thanks guys! And thanks to the funny guys too. My resonator is already removed. I guess only things I can delete are mufflers (I want to keep them) and the 200 cell primaries.

Can aftermarket cams make it louder?

You’re gonna have to remove the mufflers.

Hmmm, I guess you can always go and do an exhaust cutout if you're feeling like making a lot of noise at times! Then when you've gotten your fix taken care of, you can go back to your quieter current setup at a push of a button

This is the best option. If you remove mufflers, it is going to be LOUD!!!! I did a muffler delete, but still had stock headers and primary cats, and it was crazy loud.
So if you find it to be too loud some days, simply close the valve and it will be nice and quiet.

I don’t know why you would want it louder. This thing is damm loud with catless headers and mids. It might sound quieter with the windows up. I can assure you everyone else thinks it’s stupid loud already. I know. Love my setup.

i probably have hearing damage LOL

I’m the type that keeps the backseats permanently down and blasts heat (in non summer months) so I can leave my windows open to hear my exhaust.

KEEP THE FACTORY RESONATOR!!!!!(thats where the m156 gets its AMG "bark" from)

Secondary cat delete and factory muffler delete........sounds like perfection to me

but since you have longtubes all bets are OFF!!!!!! you would probably benefit from the valved mufflers as stated earlier.....
