Well thanks to SuckaGDog and Kevin at European Auto Source I have the cooler ordered. Hoping it will get here and I can get it installed before track day. Looks like we're back on for now.

BP shipped the cooler to EAS, waiting for it to be shipped to me. My shop is busy so my install is scheduled for first week of May, hopefully done in time for my track day.

In for updates. This might be a better option than I was going for. I pieced together a 44O kit of sorts, but if this is bolt-on, and works, I'm going this route.

Please take photos of the install with the bumper off.
Does this replace the stock cooler, and if so, do the standard oil lines bolt directly to this.

Ive asked the shop to document the install, Im out of town this week but will be back. The cooler came as pictured with no other hardware so we believe it will be a direct replacement but I will relay any updates I get here

So it sounds like the install is already done. It was about a 5 hour job including the A service. I wont be back home until Saturday but I will shoot them an email tomorrow and ask for pictures of the install. My track day is about 3 weeks out so I will report back with results then.

Any updates on this by chance? Were you able to get the car out on track?

I did get the car onto the track, but I can’t say anything conclusive yet as the ambient temps never got over 60f for the day. I will say the cooler seems to do at least an adequate job, in clean air I never saw oil temps over 230f. However when caught in traffic and air isn’t flowing it quickly shot up to 245-250. No limp mode but I am curious to see how the car does on a hot day. It seems like the cooler does help but I am still planning to pair it with a 180f thermostat phenolic spacers, and a radiator block off plate down the line. I am moving to SoCal this summer so hopefully will get some hot track days in and can report back with more conclusive results

i suggest you do modify your arch cooler as well so it will looks similar to a BS setup. The electric fan in front of the right arch cooler has been prooved useless during track date, it actually block off clean air to cool.

the best solution is still 44O package. if you can not order it, at least you can take similar approach to lay the main cooler horizontally and seal aroundings. this position has been used on M3/4, W205 C63 and most recent performance cars, which has been proved to be the best working way to reduce heat soak effect...

Not much useful info to give at this point, sorry guys. I am happy with the purchase so far but have not been able to really test it.
