Alternator and Battery test ok but voltage problem exists still

Ok so I been having a plaguing electrical issue that has became a real pain the rear. I took my car to the dealership where I bought it 2 months ago to have it checked out. I been having electrical issues where the car wont start and loses all power. I just replaced the voltage regulator as well and still having issues. I charged the battery fully last night before I took it to the dealership. They checked my battery and it was fully charged but wasn't being charged by the alternator. They then checked the alternator at the alternator and it was in spec putting out the correct voltage. They called me and told me the battery checks out ok and so does the alternator so the problem lies somewhere between the two. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a common problem with this model? Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

This is a good idea.
Now the dealership where the OP bought the car: what kind of dealership is this?
Used car dealership, or Mercedes?
If they're a generic used car dealership, they won't have a Mercedes Xentry rig to test all the systems properly and will have to take guesses.

need more details. Saying the car doesnt start sometimes and expecting real help isnt going to happen. Lay it all out no matter what seems useless. What are the conditions - does it sit 5 minutes and need jumped, or sit over night. When did it start happening? How long have you owned the car? Has the car had any body work or other previous repairs recently? Throwing parts at it is going to get expensive real fast this isnt a chevy. What exactly is the car doing? The charging system is pretty complex on these, not to mention the battery management that is supposed to keep the battery from draining when turned off.
