what color is your car? i always thought cf hoods were tacky tbh. i ended up getting a 507 hood and love it. i believe there's a member selling one on here currently, but it's painted black.

mines black and im probably going to paint it black but those 507 hoods are really expensive my budget is around 1500 i would love to get one only if its in my budget, i asked my mb dealer they want 4.5k for a one so im deciding on a stock hood or a carbon one

You can find them around $1k, but the fitment is honestly terrible and makes it look like the car was in an accident and cheaply repaired. Also, it looks like it has vents, but they aren't really vents...they just make it look like they're vents, but there's no actual hole so when it rains or you're washing your car, water just builds up and stays in that little area. I bought one and had it installed on my car for a few months before I ended up finding a damaged 507 hood online. Bought that and repaired it and I've been much happier. Really makes the car look a lot more aggressive.

No one currently makes a true fit like OEM Carbon Fiber Hood. If you are to find one, you will certainly need to address the fitment issues.

you must be young. i wouldn't have a car like this and settle for anything less than perfection just because it's carbon fiber.
like i said, i had one and had it installed. it literally looked like the car was in an accident and now wouldn't close properly. it looked something like this
trust me, you'll be self conscious every time you're driving around, because people will think you had some cheap repair job. if you decide to go that route anyway, let me know which hood you're looking at and i'll tell you if it was the same one i bought or not.
