So they have it listed for 42k and basically your asking them to drop it 10k off at least if not more factoring in the warrenty. Let me know how that goes for you.

I know it's a long stretch but the KBB value is 33K to 36K. I am aiming low so they'll offer me something decent. All four wheels have been redone and they fixed the front bumper. (Hoping it wasn't a major accident).

Constructive comments on the vehicle condition and history only please, I don't need to a lecture on how to negotiate down a car (esp. when it is marked up above actual value and has been damaged and repaired).

Looks fine, nicely optioned... but does it tick off all the boxes in what you're looking for? From the photos, there's a little more wear on the steering wheel (non-uncommon on the alcantara wheel), the drivers arm rest, and a few buttons than what I'd personally expect on such a low mileage vehicle. Couldn't really tell looking at the command screen (bottom/left) if it was smudged/scratched which happens easily with the common detailer sprays / agents that get used on interiors. Lastly, the engine cover on the right side is cracked, but that's easy / cheap to replace. All minor things from observing just the photos. Can't expect it to be perfect when buying used, but since there was quite a bit of "refurbishing" to the wheels and front bumper I'd want to have the chassis inspected.

I do think their asking price is a bit high also, but it really depends on the market and demand around that seller. For my locality, that car would be upper 30's.

I appreciate the feedback. I noted most of the "issues" you caught. My concern is the cracked engine cover, not sure what would cause it, and the refurbishing of the rims (could have been driven hard, often).

The car has every option I want, except for Keyless Go.. but that shouldn't be a deal breaker.

The engine cover can be (fairly) easily cracked when someone yanks on it to remove it. As for curb rash on wheels, that can happen in a second from a parallel parking mistake. As for the front bumper repaint, that can happen for many reasons. Assuming the records are complete, it seems like it wasn't major since nothing else was repaired/replaced around it (including grills, oil cooler, radiator, hood, etc). You can also check underneath the car to see if there are any major scrapes/dents.
