Rear Camber Arms or K-MAC Camber/Toe Bushings?

I've been trying to determine which route I'd like to go with for fixing the camber in the rear of my C63. Right now, the camber in the rear is -2.3* driver rear and -2.4* passenger rear. It is not bad by any means, but I'm concerned about camber wear when it comes down to me getting new tires (I'd like for my tires to last at least 15k miles). Being at said camber specs in the rear, it is marginally within spec. I've read that the K-MAC rear Camber/Castor bushings are a hit-or-miss in terms of quality. Not to mention the labor cost to install camber/toe/castor bushings are not cheap. I'm running the K-MAC front camber/castor bushings right now and aside from them being a bit squeaky when going over speed bumps I love them. With camber arms, the question I have is the adjustability when it comes to toe and castor, as everything affects each other. If I install camber arms, will I run out of toe adjustment? Also my other my question is, rear camber arm, K-MAC bushings, or leave it?

I have been running KMAC rear camber bushings for years and they are great. No problems here at all and an easy install to do yourself if so inclined. The hardest part of the install is dropping the exhaust to get the inner lower control arm bolt out. They come with adjustable toe bushings you can install if you run out of toe adjustment. I highly recommend KMAC bushings and Kevin is fantastic to deal with if you ever have a problem.

Thank you both for your input. K-MAC bushings it is! I love my K-MAC bushings in the front, I was skeptical on doing the rear based off other people's experiences, but I guess it's all good when it comes the the W204 platform. The nightmare stories came from the W211 forum. I agree Mort, Kevin is a joy to work with.

definitley go for the upper and lower control arms. KMAC is terrible. Not suited for the AMG application. I have had both. I swapped to F1 fabrications and they are amazing.

Our latest (2020) Mercedes KMAC Catalog. Please click here for full catalog

Rear "lower arms" adjusters unlike upper arms (retains top of tire to outer fender clearance when adjusting to reduce inner edge wear).

Have increased Camber range - now up to 1.5 degrees Pos or Neg.

This kit also includes "extra Toe" adjustment to compensate for the ability now to adjust rear Camber. Both are precise single wrench adjustable. Proven in all out 10/10ths heavy V8 competition racing.

Now also upper Camber arms (complete with additional Toe adjustment to compensate). KMAC are not welded, fabricated steel or extruded aluminum but same as OEM design - Hi strength, forged alloy. With long term maintenance free performance end link bushings.

Also for the rear uprated performance bushings for the 6 multi link arms - less rear end flex / twitch, loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change / overtake.

Catalog also lists all the front kits now manufactured.

Besides front lower arm Camber and Caster adjusters now (for both front "STRUTS" and also "UPPER WISHBONE" suspension) EXTRA adjustment for track days - when your really serious in the pursuit of front row of the grid lap times.

Id go with the bushings if your car's primary use is street driving. Heim joints aren't going to with stand normal day to day use reliably without wearing out much quicker than factory or a replacement bushing. If it's a race car, go for the arms.

Ha thanks for the replies guys, but this post is almost a year old. I purchased K-MAC bushings for the rear... not sure if I will install them though, time will tell. The rears are barely within spec so I'm going to leave it for now.

Below is link for instruction sheet for the Rear lower arm Camber and Toe adjuster kit (#502226 K) to suit all W204 models.

For those that prefer upper Camber arms KMAC (#502226-1K) features include not extruded aluminum or welded / fabricated steel. Instead security of hi-strength forged alloy arms same as OEM. End mounts twice the load bearing area of spherical bearings. With additional Toe adjustment not a separate purchase but included in the kit.

Also instruction for the front Camber and Caster lower arm adjusters (#502616 K)

Along with instruction for the front Stage 2 (Street/Race) "replacement top Strut Mounts" that are also Camber and Caster adjustable (#503016-2 L)

Another 2 kits manufactured for the W204 (instruction sheets also attached) - UPRATED BUSHINGS (#503028 N) for the 4 rear subframe mounts and the 2 rear diff mount bushings (Mono ball/2 Axis design #503228 J)

I had Kmac bushes installed a couple of months ago and the front ones are already starting to cause knocking issues as they have play in them.
