An update on the Sinairyu CarPlay. I still don’t have a working mic. First, they sent me a chip with instructions on how to replace it. The chip was so small I could barely see it. I was quoted over $100 just to solder it at two different electronic repair shops that also wouldn’t warranty the work. I tried it myself and it didn’t fix the problem. Their customer service is horrible. Now they want me to ship the whole thing back and wait basically two months to get the replacement part. If they would have fixed the mic issue, I would have recommended it. I’m now a couple months into trying to get them to make this right. Because of the customer service experience, I cannot recommend it.
Another update. Do not buy from Sinairyu. I still don’t have a working CarPlay adapter. Just had my return package get returned back to me after nearly 6 months. They’re blaming the post office even though I addressed it and mailed it exactly as they asked.

Here is a picture. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it looks. Always assume the screen just had low resolution.
