$700 service from new indy mechanic - thoughts?
Just thought I'd throw it out here to get your thoughts if the pricing is fair:
ALL MB OEM PARTS & FLUIDS
1. transmission oil flush + new filter + gaskets + oil plug
2. differential oil change
3. brake fluid flush
4. power steering fluid flush
The break down is $300 in parts and $400 in labor.
I'm based in Canada. I called my local MB dealer for transmission oil change and was quoted 500+shop supplies+tax which would have put me at $600 for just the tranny oil flush.
Not sweating the maintenance but it's my first time using this new indy benz shop. Wanted to give the C63 proper care
and just wanted to get a feel for what you guys are paying for a similar service.

Saw A LOT of MB cars on the lot - TONS of classics and a few new ones as well. 90% of the cars there were MB so I think I'm in the right spot

last question guys - I've been researching how many quarts or liters of oil is required in a transmission flush and I can't seem to get a definitive answer. Some say 10, some say 9, and in a video one guy said 5.6.

I had a very faint low pitch whine and after browsing multiple threads thought it was a characteristic of the m156.
The whine is completely gone now. My guess either low ps fluid or ps fluid needed to be flushed (bled).
The whine never got louder when it occurred it remained at a steady volume. Whenever revving you'd hear it.
Car is quiet now and no more whine at all. Very pleased!
Next up UPD Billet Pulleys and Serpentine belt, k&n air filters, cabin air filter, and she's all up to date with maintenance for a while!
